I need your help here, but that's not all !
Unfortunately, without money, you can't get anywhere in this world, not even if it's just to do good, not even if we're ecological, not even if we want to improve the climate and the future of our children and our grandchildren. not even if we're committed to the environment !
I've already had the opportunity to meet several people who have participated in the crowdfunding program, sometimes with considerable amounts. Otherwise, we wouldn't have gotten as far into the project as we have. We're constantly looking for resources to make our associations continu to work and contribute to a better world.
I’m 71 and I belong to the generation that, if I'm honest, is at the root of all the climate problems. I'm aware of it. And I want to fix what I can. Now that I'm retired, I have the time and I want to devote it entirely to my associations, because they will all contribute to a better world!
Unfortunately, the laws are not yet always favorable to ecological projects, but here at Offgrid Ecoparc Catalan I have found a perfect balance. With respect for the law and at the same time the ecological ideals of our associations. I have specifically choosen for agricultural land and in a nature reserve to prove that it is precisely here that we must make people aware of appreciating, understanding, living with and learning to protect nature. This is where I want to organize people to come and discover nature, to make them aware of contributing to a better world.
The one-hectare plot is ours. We have completely cleared and fenced it; at the time of writing, we have already planted 1,200 trees, and we have water and some solar power.
The sheep enclosure is ready, and the first sheep has arrived. We are still working on the chicken coops and the enclosure for the piglets.
At the "Potager Petite Patate" , we are putting the finishing touches on the first phase of the vegetable plots. All that remains are the "senior and child" garden beds, which we plan to integrate into the Laduf park.
The Alouette, Aigrette, Avorette, Bergeronnette, Chardonneret, and Fauvette gardens will be maintained by members who participated in the crowdfunding campaign. In addition to fruit and vegetables, they are permitted to keep chickens, birds, rabbits, and other small animals. They may also plant "useful" trees there.
"Les Arbres du Futur" (LADUF) launched in 2025. The "Gift a Tree" program—the only one of its kind in the region—promises to be a great success. We hope to complete the fencing and irrigation system by the summer of 2026 so that planting can begin in the autumn. We are seeking assistance with the installation of the fence and gate. If you are traveling in a camper van, you may park on-site while the work is underway. We will launch our media campaign in August.
Without you, it would not be possible to carry out all these projects. Come and see for yourself. Help out or put some money in our till. Don't forget: we never ask for handouts, with us you always get something for your money !
